A Not-For-Profit Organization

Founded by Juan Carlos Chavarria, Transformación en Tiempos Violentos ("Transformation in Violent Times") works toward reducing violence in Costa Rica by creating stunning works of art from decommissioned firearms. The organization also works within the prison system in Costa Rica to use the Arts as a form of rehabilitation to create Second Chances for incarcerated youth.
